I just got a phone call from Rep. John Boehner, minority leader of the house. Of course he was asking for money to help the GOP win back the house and unseat Aunt Nancy. My question is "Where is the GOP?"

John McCain has a fight on his hands for the GOP nomination for the Senate. All I need to know is that JD Hayworth, his opponent, said "this is not the John McCain I supported in 2000".

I was a huge fan of McCain in 2000 and was really disappointed when he dropped out of the race. It was still early and I thought he had a chance. The John McCain of 2000 would have been elected in 2008. Don't know who this McCain is but he is not the one from 2000. John, you are a Republican, act like it!

Olympics

Lets see, the glitches started at the opening ceremony and have continued. I just watched 2 biathlon races and they had timing issues with both races. The ice machines are a joke and they are shipping in a real ice machine, Zamboni, guess where they are made? If you said California, USA, you'd be correct. Get that Canadian built POS off the ice!

So, we have 10 Americans held captive in Haiti and neither President Obama nor Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will intervene. What is up with that? Could all the time and energy spent by the government of Haiti to imprison these people be better spent? Super Bowl

The Saint's were great and played a great game, down 10 -0 and looking like a blow out, the field goal at end of first half, the onside kick to start the second half, wow it was fun to watch.

I just got finished with my 'first pass' for my 2009 tax return. Wow, there are a ton of credits generated by the stimulus package.

Well, apparently retired people who took a massive hit in their investments and 401k's don't get shit!

People on SS got $500, retired people not on SS don't get shit!

New home buyers get $$$$$, people who saw there home values plummet don't get shit!

I am sure there are more like this but I am sure of one thing, I WON'T GET SHIT.

I guess I should have screwed up somewhere along the way and gotten some of that bailout money.

Me: So the government office that's responsible for that is actually open?
